Don't worry about it, some dogs are healthier than others, just like we humans are. Enjoy your dog, give it all the love and care you can give to her and share magical moments of cleaning after her and feeding her :P JUST ENJOY YOUR DOGGIE.

Why would she by sickly just because she's small?? Your real problem is that you like big dogs, but yet you got a small one (tiny at that!). If you are having second thoughts, you are better off talking to the breeder and backing out. If you had to put down a deposit, you'll probably lose it - but it's better than the alternative.

Why do you think it will be sickly? I have a 4 lb maltepoo and she's so full of it. Healthy and a ball of energy.
What's more of a concern with a little dog is the hawks or owls looking for a snack. Since I have this little one there is a large hawk that circles and sits high in the trees which is able to spot here in MI with no leaves!
It's nice that you can slip her in your purse and go anywhere ~ I do except restaurants.

As others have mentioned, there is no such element as a teacup Yorkie. If the breeder you're growing to be to be one from claims in any different case, then that's not likely the style of breeder you go with to get a dogs from. i'd recommend that earlier you actively attempt to acquire any dogs, you a minimum of take it sluggish to learn the breed first. it is going to greater efficient provide help to make a clever decision and grant help to steer away from being taken income of. relating to the tail being docked, you would be confusing pressed to locate that. A docked tail is element of the breed typical, it fairly is something respected breeders attempt to attain. you would be able to locate a breeder that would not provide a hoot relating to the typical for the breed, yet returned, unlikely the style of breeder you go with to evaluate. you would be able to desire to probable touch some breeder who're looking forward to a muddle and ask that one be held back and the tail left intact. (Tails are docked at 3-5 days of age.)

Teacup is simply a trendy thing therefor people who breed them aren't necessarliy looking out for the best interest of the dogs...IMO
If you want something that small get a guinea pig.

i wanted a yorkie myself and doing all the research, theres actually alot of yorkies out there like that. some just grow to be small anyways. i doubt s/he's sickly but you should deff check the dog out first before getting it. check if s/he's acting weak and can't walk or anything else. your own instinct should lead u to make the right decision :)

Good grief! You don't even have the dog yet and you're already concerned with her death. Please. Live in the moment. Enjoy her and don't think about anything else. Any dog (or person) will die at some point! Why not enjoy her life, and yours, and don't borrow problems!

there is no such thing as a "teacup" dog. "Teacups" are just the offspring of runts of litters of dogs. So your dog is at a greater risk of having health problems. Of course, this doesn't mean that she for sure will have health problems, but be watching for health problems since "teacups" are just poorly bred dogs. Good luck with her though!

well, before you got your dog you should have asked what size it would be, but since you didn't you should just learn to love small dogs too. i dont think it will matter what size your dog is goin to be as long as you give her proper care, her size shouldn't matter.
