This is going to sound stupid, but I run a dryer sheet over my hair. My mom told me to do it and I after trying other techniques including hairspray, I decided to do it. Plus it makes your hair smell good lol.

This is going to sound weird, but it works. Use bounce dryer sheets and run them over your hair, it completely takes the static out. It can be a little drying though, so add some moisturizer to your hair afterwards.

Use static guard-just dpray it on your hair. It smells bad though, so you can also rub a dryer sheet over your hair.

Use a metal comb or metal bristle brush for starters. And using conditioner after you shampoo and not blow drying till it's bone dry, leave the hair a touch damp!
