Mostly not though I cannot pretend to speak for all. Though be more specific re aliens, I'm sure most atheists would be open minded about whether alien life forms exist somewhere in the universe, but as to whether Earth is being visited by intelligent aliens then thats a big no.

I (an atheist) do not believe in ghosts.
When it comes to life existing on other planets, it is actually unlikely that there aren't. How many other planets hold life I'm unsure. The probability of Earth being the ONLY one is quite slim.

I do not believe in ghosts. If by aliens you mean is there life on other planets? Yes, I think there is. Do you mean the little green guys who pick up rednecks and do anal probes? No.

Of course, I'm skeptical that we would ever encounter or communicate with aliens from other planets.

Ghosts no. Aliens, in the terms of space, are defined simply as any being in the universe not from our own planet. I think too many picture X-files when thinking of aliens. The statistic probability that other being out there, when for all logical purposes the universe is infinite, is quite high.
