The front. Never, ever turn right when you get on a plane.

In the cockpit lol

Or first class anywhere/business class/premium economy

Or if your like the rest of us poor people then I always choose the bulk head seats if I have the children the row in the middle with just the wall in front of you

Or if I am on my own then the seats right at the back of the plane then you can recline right back and not have to worry about any one behind you (not that some people think that way lol)

The best seat on any aircraft is the fire exit row, As long as you are able and willing they will let you sit there. I am 6 foot 6 inch-any time I fly I ask for fire exit Row-much more leg area and most times people in front cannot retract their seats into "your space"
Fire exit row assignments can only be issued to passengers ,in person, at the airport. They need to see that you are physically capable. First come first serve

Depends.

Window seat is always cool especially for those that don't fly very often.

Personally, esp on long haul flights, I prefer ailse seats as it's really embarrassing when you have to keep disturbing people when you need the toilet.
Seat at the front or by the door is good as you get lots more leg room but these seats can be reserved quite often.

Unless of course you're in business class or first class and there's none of that squeezing past stuff going on.....:-)

It depends on the airline and the plane, as different arilines have different seat arrangements,
The best place to go is www.seatguru.com. Put in the airline and plane you are flying on, and it will give you a detailed map of the plane's interior, explaining which are good and bad seats and why.
I use it everytime I fly!

General rule of thumb is the bulkheads and emergency exit rows are good in coach. You can't be reclined into, so your knees will be saved. However, most airlines will not allow non-elite passangers to pre-reserve those seats. In general, I like to sit over the wing.

Finally, first class is a nice place to sit, but it's not worth the extra $$.

However, check out seatguru.com for detail.

For comfort, check out http://www.seatguru.com. They have charts of just about any airline & plane you can think of. The back has more engine noise & in the wing area you can feel the wheels retract and come down, which might bother some people.

On the exit row seats. They have more leg room. If those are taken, go for thew front, you get to exit the plane before the suckers in the back.

The best place for this type of information is to go this website.
www.seatguru.com
You need to know the airline and type of plane. It will list the good seats, the bad seats and the not so bad seats and why.

Happy flying.....
