My cousin and I want to do something for our theatre's talent show. We've always been known to be a little avante-garde, and we decided to do a sock puppet play. I agreed to write it and she'll make the puppets. What should we do, though? We're playing for a mostly teenage audience, although there'll be some kids and adults in the house, too. I just need an idea, because we want this to be original!

Please, no flatulence, though.

Try, with your imagination-not mine, to present an satirical image of the local contemporary music station's afternoon and evening DJ's and contact the radio show to see if they'd be interested in attending (hype). It'll be original and will no doubt have the teenager audience attention. Can't hurt ticket sales, either.

Go for politics. A satire will work on enough levels to be amusing, sharp and clever, but can still include some gags to keep younger kids entertained. Panto-style.

Do a puppet show about puppets trying to do a talent show. Include costume changes, over-acting, and lots of wise-cracks.

Do a harry potter spoof. My friend and I once did something like that and it was hilarious.
