Here's the story: I have two best friends. Then I have a boyfriend. My friends got mad at me because they think I spend more time with my boyfriend and I tell them to back off. But then they try to separate me from my boyfriend. My boyfriend and I MIGHT break up, but we're not so sure. But I have an idea. I think I should not tell my friends to back off. Maybe I should include them and not leave them out so much. Am I doing the right thing? Do you think this will improve everything? Any suggestions?

hey there, i think your idea about including your two friends is an awesome idea. Maybe if they have bf's you can triple date it. But if not including them to non-romantic places that all of you would appreciate would be totally awesome! I'm single and when my friends and their bf's include me i have a great time, and i think you and your friends as well as your bf will too.

u shouldnt have told ur friends to back off..they just feel left out..since ur spending alot of time with ur boyfriend now. how long have you been friends with them? u should try to spend an equal amount of time with both. after all boyfriends come and go, but friends last forever and u dont wanna ruin ur friendship with them for a guy u MIGHT be breaking up with. if that happens then u dont win at all.

I'm not sure of your age, but when you are in a situation where you are not sure about your boyfriend (my gosh -- he's a boyfriend, not a fiance` or anything more significant) -- you need to realize "friends are forever." Boyfriends aren't always.

Think about it! Your age; the value of your friends; and the value of this 'boyfriend' to you -- while you make decisions like this.
