The pilot light is out. I don't know how to explain it over the internet. There should be a valve that looks like a big ball point pin. Get a match, preferably long, turn on the stove a little, and put the match to it. If that's not it, wave the match around to places that look like a nozzle of some type. Should do the trick. If not, you have a plugged pilto. You'll have to take it off and clean it with some paint thinner, or acetone. Then try it again.
