Listen, your boyfriend was protecting something that he felt belongs to him. He is defending you. That is not a reason to dump him. If he didn't love you he would not of did it. The question is, are you happy and in love with your boyfriend, if not then its time to move on and break it off. If you love him, tell him that what he did upset you and you know he was defending you but could he please not hurt people like that because it upsets you. Take care Heather

Well if guys feel a threat they're going to try and fight for their girl. Guys don't like to hear another guy tell his girlfriend that they love her. I'm sure your boyfriend was just reacting the way he thought would get his point across- he must be a good boyfriend if he punches someone because they said " i love you"-that shows just hoe much he cares for you and beside wouldn't you get mad if another girl came up and told your boyfriend that she loved him?

Yes, and No. If no, your boyfriend was just defending you. That means he really likes you and was jelous of this guy. Or if yes, if you like the guy that said he liked you and hes still willing to go out with you then you could dump your boyfriend

That is not a very nicething to do there....and also not a very smart thing to do.... now think what if YOU did something to make him uncomfortable or mad? would he punch you too? if i was you (unless i liked getting the snot beat out of me, which i dont) i would have to drop them.
