when i was growing up we had a boston terrier (male) named Duggan, all the kids in the neighborhood called him "Duggan Doggin"
at that time we had neighbors that raised bostons, and they had a cute little female named "Dolly" and another named "Dottie"
the D's were popular with that neighborhood...
