is it my firewall or windows vista that wont let my p2p program connect properly to the net? I have no idea what to do anymore.

its both. it knows your trying to illegally download stuff and is blocking you from doing so. I'm gonna have to report you now.

Without a doubt - it is your firewall settings - turn it completely off and you will connect - then bump up your settings as high as you can go without a problem. A lot of times, some places you try and connect to rely upon Pop-Ups. You may have to allow these at the site you are trying to contact.

It is most likely your firewall, try disabling your firewall then try it. if it works then, you need to change your settings on the firewall.

If it still doesnt work it is probably vista, just wait a bit, most software isnt compatible yet with vista, due to it only being released a week ago

more then likely the Windows firewall
best advise I can give is put Vista back in it's box, and then wait for that 1st service pack to come out later this year and re-install XP
