No, if you sin long enough your heart becomes hardened and the easier it is to sin. This is dangerous because you have opened yourself up to destruction.
(Psalm 95:8) Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
(Psa 95:9) When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
(Psa 95:10) Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
(Psa 95:11) Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Sin is being apart from God. If you feel no conviction for sin, it only means that you don't know God. If you don't know God, you can't know His Will or His Ways, therefore, you won't feel convicted if you sin.
By the way, feelings are not facts and they are Satan's favorite way of deceiving you. So maybe you are "feeling" convicted but Satan is convincing you that you aren't.
Be blessed.

Sin is Sin, lack of conviction is simply the result of an unhealthy and disconected, desensitised conscience.
"Conscience" con meaning "with"
and science meaning "knowledge".
If you take the battery out of a smoke detector, it wont register anything when there is a problem.
I think you should ask got to restore the "battery in your smoke alarm" so to speak,, before the fire consumes the whole house, beyond extinguishing.

It certainly is, friend. Someone who isn't born again mostly just doesn't know if something is a sin or not by feelings. Major things, like murder, rape, felony theft, our consciences tell us are wrong, but other things, like lying, maybe cheating someone, etc are less of a conscience thing with non-Christians. Read the Bible and it will explain things for you. God bless.

YES just because you may not feel sorry for a sin or perhaps you feel justified for your actions or reactions does not change what sin is.GOD has said "MY WAYS ARE NOT YOUR WAYS"GOD ALONE IS HOLY AND KNOWS WHAT SIN IS.people choose to ignore their own sins because they do not want to change.

Probably.
Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God.
In other words, sin is anything that hurts your relationship with God.
With love in Christ.

Is murder wrong if I don't feel remorse?Do you think the person that was killed thought it was OK?Is stealing OK if I don't get caught?Ask the person who had their items stolen! Just because you think it's not affecting you doesn't mean it doesn't affect others and acting like it's OK doesn't make it right!!
