A Russian lady contacted me on the Internet about two months ago and wants to meet me over here. She wants to stay for two weeks to see if we can move ahead in our relationship. I won't have to pay for anything. She's not asking anything from me, except that I be completely honest with her. I've read accounts on here of American men who went looking for Russian brides and got into all kinds of drama resulting in being robbed and even being jailed. She contacted me. She seems to be the one willing to take all the risks so far. It doesn't seem to me like she wants to take advantage of me. And I don't have anything worth stealing, not even my identity, unless she wants to inherit a massive debt. Should I go forward with meeting her?

yeah. just be careful, but otherwise it would be just like meeting someone from here in person... i think you should go ahead and meet her, like you said, it's not like you're the one going out of your way, taking risks, or paying for anything.
besides, russian people are reallllly good looking (at least the ones i've met...)

EDIT:
wait a sec, she's staying at YOUR place? hmm i dunno i would think more than twice about that one. if she were to come to your town and sleep at a hotel or someplace that would be good. i guess "what did i expect?" right? of course she plans to stay at your place.... well i dunno it sounds kinda scary.
kyra j is right: if this woman is willing to fly across the seas to meet a man (and stay in his house) whom she has known for only two months, then a red light should go off. if the case were that she were visiting the us and she wants to see you then it would be different... but it seems she is taking very very big risks and who would want a relationship with that kinda person anyway? haha jk, if you think she really might be a person worth your time then do whatever you want.

you are able to attempt the information superhighway, seem for acquaintances in the start, do not ever tell the persons you're talking to that you're searching for a 'spouse'. Why? because there are those females who may take earnings of you, certain there are quite good filipinas, yet there are also those who may purely flow after you money, or for the belongings you should offer them. Then once you've already got a pal and also you imagine she is quite efficient and variety hearted, then you genuinely ought to take it to the subsequent element. or in basic terms supply a efficient go searching you, possibly on your college/college/academy, there are filipino females, that is a lot less complicated! wish that helped (and do not flow right here in case you do not comprehend someone from right here or you do not have acquaintances, were on condition that?)

My advice to you is to NOT have her fly over her and put yourself in a position where you're forced to have her stay in your apartment for two weeks. People are not usually what they make themselves out to be online and if she is thatn willing to hop on a plane and fly accross the world to stay with a complete stranger, her marbles are obviously not in place. Be weary! I have a friend who put herself in a similar situation and ended up the target of a Nigerian scam. If you think your minus bank account is bad now, wait until it is minus thousands more!

Sorry to be pessimistic. If she is going to come visit, have her stay in a hotel, so you are not obligated. And definately meet her outside of your house for the first time!!

awwwwwwww...don't take the chance...many of these ladies will eventually steal your heart and you will never know what hit you...for example...they may eventually want you to cash a money order for them and want you to keep and use the money...then when it turns out to be a counterfeit order your account will be charged...even if you don't have the funds...you will be responsible for the expense...

and hey...i hear that there are 5 women to every man ...i am one...be patient...when the time is right you will not be alone forever...and neither will i...

I wouldn't trust her for a minute. There are different ways of meeting ladies, without getting yourself mixed up in some kind of a con. Tell her sorry, and move on.

just show her a gun when she first arrives and say this: "Look I don't want to have to use this, so stay in line and things might work out. Just know it will be on me at all times, so don't get any smart ideas or you will end up paying for it.......sweetie" then kiss her on the forehead.
