First and foremost, stop cracking your knuckles! It feels real good when you crack them (that I know because I used to do the same thing) but as time passes, with prolong cracking, it can lead to arthrithis. This is caused by constant friction which results in the wear-and-tear of your cartilages connecting your finger bones. If you really want to loosen your joints, wiggle your fingers and flex your wrists.

Next, if your fingers are really that stiff, immerse your hands in warm water with a mixture of 5ml jojoba oil with 2-3 drops pure lavender essential oil for a good 10mins. Note: do this if you have no red and swollen areas on your hand. You don't want any infection or inflammation to circulate to the other parts of your hand.

If you do have swollen fingers, immerse your hands in cold milk or ice water to reduce soreness for 10mins.

For once or twice a week treatment, go to a salon and have a paraffin-wax treatment to soften your hands.

Finally, as there is no way to reverse the look of your hands due to the damage, you can only prevent from further damage and increase the mobility of your joints. If it really bothers you a great deal, try going to an orthopedic surgeon for advice.
