A higher dosage may help. I was on Klonopin for awhile and it really helped. Oops that was for anxiety. I am on Celexa now, and it depends on the person. They had to up my dosage, but things are fine now.

From my experience with those meds xanax helps with anxiety problems...it helps to calm you down. Things like zoloft are more of a mood stabilizer...they don't really bring you "up" or "down" just kind of keep you in the "middle" mood-wise--I have tried taking zoloft, paxil, and wellbutrin and they all left me feeling not really happy or sad but kind of an in between mood.

Just keep working with your doctor and let them know EVERYTHING you are feeling while taking those meds so they can either adjust your dose or switch you to another med that will work better for you.

I tried a lot too. i don't think they work and it's definitely not the solution. it's the easy way out, and none of your problems are really solved. unless you are an extreme manic depressive you should try to not take them. i was put in a hospital for an ed and that's why they put me on them, but right after i got out i refused to take them. they mess with your mind, it's really not you. please, try to get better and be strong without taking those drugs.

you need to calm down. over dose will not work. you need to understand that they may take the depression off for a little while, but it will not take it totally off. they help- a little- but you need to face it yourself.
