I've been in long term relationsips before. Two to be exact. One lasted 3 yrs, the other 3 months. Are all men prone to hating long term relationships? Do they only just want sex and nothing more? My past experiences have made me a realist now, I used to be a romantic, but now I am full realist. I think men just want women to have fun with but don't wnat any seriousness. Can anyone convince me otherwise? I actually am hoping.

In most cases yes, thats what men want until they become elderly.

No not all men/boys....there are some guys out there who do want a long term relationship, but the sad part that it is only like 25 % out of 100, probably even less....but then some boys start out like that, n then they change, n it is probably the girl that they are with that change them into wanting a long term relationship...You just have 2 keep your eyes open, and maybe you should play hard 2 get, and see which guy keeps coming after you, n if he does that for longr then a month, then try him he PROBABLY wans a long term relationship.

clearly all men dont hate long term relationships, otherwise noone would stay married. You have a bad opinion of us. Most want a committed relationship with the woman of their dreams. You just have not found the guy that sees you in that role for him yet

have a glance on the adult men you're relationship. the position are you assembly them? If its in a bar, ignore it. what number wedding ceremony thoughts have you ever heard initiate off "we first met at this bar...". From previous adventure, dont date associates or people you meet at funerals both. imagine about what type of guy you want. Then attempt to discover that guy there. case in point, in case you want a guy who loves water and being outside, search for someone on the sea coast or on the park. someone who needs youngsters or has one? bypass to the playground or to an outside adventure for children. You get the point.. attempt to look on the previous adult men you've dated and learn the problem you've been in once you met them. stay away from that : )

No i think some men like to be in a relationship & have kids etc
as long as they get enough sex to keep them from straying lol
so its always mainly about the sex

yes, its part of what drives us, but there are men such as myself who have the rare ability to control themselves, yes most boys can control their anger and other stuff, but men can control their thoughts. when i like a woman a lot of it is physical attraction but I refuse to allow myself to abuse her in my mind by fantasizing about her, by doing this i don't just want to "get in her pants." men like myself also don't look at porn or masturbate, because these actions take away your ability to control your thoughts.

so by my definition men- don't just want sex
boys- just want sex

but maybe I'm completely wrong and my view is blinded by the fact that I'm 18, a virgin, and Mormon (no premarital sex, no porn, no masturbation)

They still have decent men left who just enjoy the company of a woman, I one of them.
