It may not just be dandruff...it can be seborea dermatitis or even psoriasis....

Here are some over the counter products (OTC) you can try:
Nutragena T-Sal
Nutragena T-Gel
Elta Lite Tar Gel
Elta Tar Gel
Betamide Shampoo

If nizoral did not help ask your Doctor for some Clobetalsol shampoo oh ya ask your Doctor for some Derma-Smooth FS oil you apply it at bed time and wash it off in the morning...It is messy so it comes with a shower cap...but it helps....You can also use OLUX Foam or LUXIQ Foam....but I think tar shampoos work well so try them (listed above as OTC) Good Luck...

That dandruff can really be a problem, I have used "Brahmi oil",(coconut oil base) which really works great. "Rosemary hair oil" is also good, peanut oil base, with rosemary essential oil. I have also used oliv e oil, I would not be afraid to try any of the natural vegetable oils, ( you can add essential oil to the base oils for fragrance and some are beneficial to your skin, you just have to do a little investigating, you can also mix the base oils) just rub them into the scalp after shampooing, I prefer while the scalp is still moist you get better coverage and I think it helps hold some of the moisture in. It may seem a bit messy, But, you want to stop the dandruff!
None of these are cures, but a help in controlling the condition.
It has also been my experience that when you try a different product, that the condition may worsen slightly and then turn favorable after several applications, so if you try something once and it doesn't work, don't get discouraged and quit, just keep with it for a few applications. (unless it is a serious reaction you are having in which case I would discontinue use).
