No that is unfair. Just tell them to get their own darn belt. Just be like, Daddy you bring the belt, and I'll bring my butt.

telling you to get the implement that will be used to spank you adds to the punishment. Sounds like the action of actually getting the belt perhaps bothered you move that the actual spanking. Maybe next time you are about to lie, you will remember what you had to get for telling a lie. And you will tell the truth. Try to tell the truth all the time, might make everything in life go smoother. Take care young lady.

Depends what it was you lied about. If it was just a trivial lie, that's maybe a bit harsh. But if it was about something serious, you probably deserved what you got.
As for being sent to fetch the belt or the wooden spoon, that's all part of the ritual to make the spanking extra memorable. Seems to be working.

Well my first question is, how old are you? Because if you're over 11 I don't think that it is appropriate that you are getting spanked. But if you aren't over 11 I do think that spankings are acceptable. When I was littler (I'm 14 now) and I did something really really bad I would get spanked with a wooden spoon...but never a belt. I do not think that you should have gotten hit with a belt just for lying though.

Personally, I think it is fair. If you didn't like it then it added to your punishment without having to spank you more. That's a good thing.
I am glad to see you agree that you did deserved to be punished. That is the first step towards not repeating the misbehavior.

Sorry hun, their house their rules. I'd suggest trying to communicate better with them, think before you act, and follow the rules. In your home, your parents have chosen to bring you up this way, so this is your lifestyle until you become an adult. Learn to thrive within these rules, and you will have, much more fun, and a much better relationship with your parents. Your not the only one out there who gets spanked, my children do, and I did when I was a child.
Good Luck

If you are talking about physically having to go get the belt, I don't really think it matters. Maybe there is some reason why they made you get the belt and you should try to learn from that. It sounds like you have some pride to deal with...meaning get rid of...

Sweetie, you did it. I dont know how old you are but, let me tell you a story. I used to get in fights with my twin and I had to go out side and brake off a twig type thing called a switch and bring it in and let my daddy inspect it before I pulled my pants down and got whipped.

If you can type this and are still being spanked, your parents are extremely misguided. If you can type this and are still lying, you can see that spanking doesn't help.
You don't deserve spanking. No one does. You deserve guidance, consequences, expectations, but not spanking.
It teaches nothing. I would tell them very respectfully next time this comes up that you will no longer participate in your own abuse. If they want to get the belt, they can get it. And you should tell a trusted family member that this is happening so that they can get your parents some help.
Get the book "How to talk so kids will listen and listen so kids will talk." Read it and talk to your parents about how you would rather be raised like a human than punished like an animal.

No No No...Your to old to get spanked.Spanking is for kids of the age 1 up to 4.They don't understand things. But at your age u do.So they should ground u or take something away. But not physical punishment...I know because I was whipped with a belt until my mom stopped it at the age of 14. Do not call social services. That will only get u taken away. Talk to your mom.Good luck
