If your close female friend says that 'YOU ARE ON A BREAK' - what does she mean???

(we were only friends, we got close but nothing happened-we were never a couple.I stopped contact for awhile to get over her,attempted to get back in touch with her saying the above)

sounds like she does not want to be so close for now. Needs her space to decide if she wants to be with you. Want to see if she is more comfortable and at ease in your abscence. Wants to discover if she misses having you around. You need to give her time to find these things out. Tell her what you feel then give her that space.

the way in which you worded the question can be a bit confusing, we need more details in order to effectively answer this question. Is she just a REALLY close friend or a girlfriend? If she's just a really good friend then she probably just meant she like you a lot but just needs to be alone/or with other friends for a while. Don't worry though, this is good because when she comes out of this "break" she'll like you just that much more. hope this helps!

i think that there is either too much drama and she is sick of it and would like to stop dating for a while but continue later.
she may also mean that she may like another guy and is very confused and doesnt want to go out with anyone.
dont worry though because i guarantee you she is thinking about u right now, that how girls are they always think about the guy they like. she is probably obbsessed with you so dont sweat it but give her her space.

she means that she dont want to date right now, or she wants to see other people, or doesnt want to be with u so she said ur on a break
