My girlfriend of 3 years has accused me of cheating, which I did not do, is there anyway to convince her I'm telling the truth?

She had found pictures on a friends facebook of me at a music festival that I attended without her with strange girls hugging me and automatically assumed I cheated because she wasnt there.

Has she been cheated on previously ??
If so then that's more than likely the reason,
If you are innocent then keep reassuring her

When a women accuses her guy of cheating on her, she may already have proof. The only way to convince her otherwise is to remain innocent and I just don't mean, ACT innocent. I mean DO NOT CHEAT ON HER OR GIVE HER A REASON TO FEEL THAT YOU ARE.

Someone must have told her something or she must have found out something on her own. You will need to talk to her to find out where this information is coming from and take it from there. If it proves to be false information you may want to rethink your position as her man. There is nothing worse than being in a relationship with someone who does not trust you, especially for unfounded reasons.

Look her in the eyes when you tell her that you haven't cheated on her. You can't make her believe you, but you can ask her why she thinks this and ask her to give you a chance to defend yourself. The only other thing you can do is to ask her what you can do to make everything better or what you can do to make her realize the truth and trust you again. Trust is something that takes a lifetime to build, but only suspicion to tear it down. Gain her trust back. If you love her and the relationship is worth it, you'll do whatever it takes, and never regret it.

Confront the reasons why she feels that way. Did she hear some gossip? Confront the source together.

If she can't give you substantial reasons it could be a ploy to control your behavior ... make you more committed. i.e., "But honey ... I'd never cheat on you. I love you and want you to marry me".

The other scenario is she wants out of the relationship and is looking for an excuse to move on.

All i can think of is get your story straight. Find out why she is accusing ya e.g a rumour, she seen ya, her friend seen ya somewhere.

As long as you have someone to witness your wherabouts on the time shes accusin ya of, ur sorted.

If its cos ur actin differently than when u were first goin out, u gotta reassure her, take her out, surprise her to show her that you still feel the same way bout her as u did when u were 1st goin out.

Hope this advice from a single guy has helped.

If she truly loves you she will believe you. It is valentines day coming up I'm sure you can try and convince then. If she knows the girl she "thinks" you have cheated with then ask her to tell your girlfriend it isn't true.

why does she think this, you must be doing something to make her suspicious. If you arnt then you need to talk things out with her and see if she as some problem from her past that is making her insecure with herself. So that she feels unworthy to have someone that is never going to cheat on her.

Just act normal, and tell her the truth, its up to her if she wants to believe you or not. You don't need to do anything to prove yourself because you haven't done anything wrong, if you go out of your way to prove your innocence you will look guilty.

She probably doesn't trust you. If you've done it before then of course she doesn't trust you. If you have done it before, show her you won't do it again. Don't do so much as look as another girl. But if you haven't done anything, then break it off. Tell her and if she doesn't believe you then time to let her go.
