The plate is white with some blue floral detail ( not anywhere near as much as the usual blue patterns ); a 1/4" blue borderaround the rim with a fancy edging to it; there is a detailed edging 42 from the centre; the plate is 12" in diameter. The blue backstamp has a patterned square with SPODE in the centre.COPELAND above the square and ENGLAND New Stone below. Spodes Gloucester is also printed and there is an impressed mark reading S51.
Any information would be most welcome.

Spode is the maker,

Copeland is the place and the factory where is was made,

Gloucester is the pattern name. in your case it is
Gloucester Blue

there are a few pieces on ebay right now.

Try "replacements.com". They have thousands of patterns on file and will work with you to identify yours and tell its it's value and/or how to add to your collection.

you could try Ebay.... they may not have the exact plate , but worth a look
