My suggestion is a Ford F250 or F350 OR the new for 2007 F450 they have a variety of body styles, engines, and trim levels. I know 2 guys w/ these trucks and they can do just about anything you ask of them. Besides, they are Built FORD tough.

It depends, if he wants a brand new truck, or a used one.
The best new truck for construction is a 2007 Chevy Silverado, and a good used truck would have to be a Dodge pick up any year is good.

The Mercedes of trucks is Toyota. I've walked to many times owning Ford,Dodge,and G.M. trucks.
