I hate that sad feeling,it,s so painfull that it holds u back at times.u are not the only one goes through this process.the important thing is to try your best to move on because day by day it will get easier.sometimes yeah a broken heart will last long time until u meet someone else and u hope it doesen,t happen again.I do know that a broken heart is part of life and love and sadly theres nonthing anyone can do but go on as best they can.so don,t ever loose the faith,u,ll be ok.

Heartbreak is like getting older. A lot of people try to avoid it, and in a sense try to find a cure. We live in a culture where we respect our elders because they have knowledge of life that younger people haven't aquired. Heartbreak is just like this. We ask people who have felt this pain for their knowledge. We can't avoid it, one day you will feel your heart break. Whether you are left at the alter, stood up for your blind date, turned down at a bar, or left after 20 years of devotion through marriage. You will feel a piece of you disappear, but the best part is, a new piece will fill that gap. You can not fear the unchangeable, only embrace the future.

Yes. The only way to avoid it is to marry the first person you fall in love with. The few cases I have seen that happen have ended in broken marriages. It only has to work out one time - because that should be the last time. But, your heart will be broken along the way to finding that "right one."

If your going to live life to the fullest, you can count on hearbreak and disappointment. Some of it feels like you will never get over it; and sometimes you never really do, it just goes to a quieter place in your heart. But along with the heartbreak you can also count on unbridled joy and your heart taking wings. Reach out and grab life........love as often as you can.

Unfortunately, yes, as the saying goes you learn from your mistakes. What is life? its taking risks. Without those risks where would we be today?? Heartbreak is a necessary part of life. You live it and you learn from it. I've had my share of heartbreak and i'm still here stronger than ever. Although you have your heartbreak, you'll get over it, but you'll never forget it, but it's part of life.

I would have to say yeah! that heart break is what you learn the life lessons from. and if you didn't then we would all be stuck with that first person that we fell in love with along time ago.. I am glad that we have heart break in our lives, I wouldn't have meet my husband.... You just need to look at it as something better comes along...

i also think it's unavoidable. i've never really had a heartbreak. but i have tried to prevent myself from it 2. sometimes, it's hard to open up knowing i mite get hurt. so yes, i thnk heartbreak is necessary. and eventually i will and u probably will have a heartbreak maybe several.

The best way I can put it is this:
Sometimes we feel the pain of heartbreak. If we never had it,we would never truly appreciate love when it shows up.
Geez....sometimes I get too mushy

heartbreaks are natural. i have been through so many. but you just have to move on to feel better. its tough, but not impossible. what i do is not talk about that person in any way relating to a relationship and after a while they just "disappear". another way is to find someone else to get your mind off htem.
