Ok, so I've liked this guy at my school since the beginning of the school year. i'll call him "J" for my convenience. He actually knows who I am, and we talked together occasionally, but I didn't make it obvious that I like him because he's kind of popular, and I'm just average. But THEN, on Friday, "J"'s friend came up to me and he asked me if I liked "j". I immediately said noooo, i'm just friends with him.
well apparently, his friend knew I was lying, and practically spread to the whole school that i like "J"!!!!!!!! But the thing is, "J" actually believes my lie that I don't like him more than a friend and I feel terrible lying to him, but if I do say yes i like him, the whole school will know it's true and i HATE attention. what should I do??

just come out with it. just tell him u like him. thats all. people might give u a hard time but his close friends would pressure him into asking u out. if he likes u then he would probably ask u out. good luck

You should not lie because then wut if he really does like you then you havwe just messed things up between you and him. Geta good friend to ask him if he likes you and if he does then tell him you like him and everything works out. If he doesnt like you then you should just try impressing him or find someone else to like.
