Go to the store and get a box of perm solution. Follow the instructions on the box but instead of putting curlers in your hair you are going to comb it straight. Make sure you follow up with a good conditioner. This will keep your hair straight for a few months at least.

I used to have that same problem.
But then I was watching some show on T.V with professional hair stylists and he mentioned that many people don't completely dry their hair so it ends up looking bad.
I just bought a new hairdryer and I tryed drying my hair for a long time, I also used pantene straightening product and it worked so great.
Also, don't put your hair up while you sleep, that's what is causing the bump!

could you just straight iron the bump in the morning. i do mine everyday and i have no problems running the iron over the hair a few more times. if youre going to put your hair in a pony tail expect a bump. its a common sense thing.

you could try a loose braid. you still probably will have dents, but they wont be as sever as the bump and will be easier to straighten.

if you want the pencil straight hair try a korean beauty place. my friend, who had curly hair, swore by their technique. they have a straight perm that will kill any curl.

regrettably, GHDs are expensive... yet they're the main suitable.. you would be able to desire to look on ebay for some... Even GHDs do no longer unavoidably shop your hair at cutting-edge ALL day, it relies upon on the situations... i.e, if that's humid or wet, your hair will circulate wavy returned (nicely, mine does!) in case you go with for some greater much less costly straighteners, you would be able to easily would desire to shop going many times a similar element of hair to get a solid consequence. solid good fortune!
