ANXIETY MEDS for a weak stomach? please help?

Does anyone know a good anxiety/antidepressant thats low dose and is not hard on the stomach. I have tried lexapro and zoloft and both cause diarrhea or make me throw up. Does anyone have experience with a med like that that is easy on the stomach. I really need some suggestions from someone who has experience with this issue. thank you! anything you can offer me that would help id appreciate

I've had experience with that issue.

All I can tell you is that you haven't taken it long enough. In fact you may be anxious just to take your medicine and that is the reason you are getting sick. Been there, done that.

Relax, take your dose as prescribed. You will feel better.

If your medication is causing such a severe reaction, it must be causing you even MORE anxiety. How awful for you. maybe your body is trying to tell you something.

I have significantly reduced my extreme anxiety, which has affected my life for the past two years. I have done it with very
gentle, naturopathic solutions. Magnesium supplements work effectively for anxiety, as does Rescue Remedy, and you can obtain these from any health store. They both really helped me a lot, as has learning to slow down my breathing, by holding my breath for a count of ten before and after inhaling. Try also giving up anything with caffeine and artificial sweeteners, and maybe going for a ten or fifteen minute walk every day.

Anxiety really can be helped with these simple things, and you don't need to line the pockets of the drug companies. I think the key to it is that in doing this, we're taking control of our anxiety, instead of the other way around. I think that's a great mental hurdle.
