In my opinion, I would stay away from neutrogena oil free acne wash because that product seems to irritate my skin. Infact, that product caused my skin to breakout more because of the irritation that it caused. However, other neutrogena acne eliminators work very well such as Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Lotion (Approximately $8 Dollars). And just use that daily everyday with the help of Neutogena Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Gel (Approximately $6 dollars). As for a face wash, I would recomment Cetaphil (Approximately $9 dollars) which calms your skin; it works very gently which can help your skin from the irritation that the Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash may have caused.
Well, good luck!

Pimples are a natural occurance while attaining puberty. Let the body look after itself. You have to bear this slight change in looks for this period. Let your body take care of itself. I know there are lots of creams and lotions in the market, but they are plainly selling their product basing on your desperation to have a smooth and pimple free face. Very miniscule changes take place because of these creams. Basically just to hide the pimple. The less you interfere with your body's way to heal itself, the faster your pimples will vanish.

Use OIL FREE MAKE UP, wash your skin with a good cleanser like Clearasil (in drugstores) or if you have the cash to blow something from Clinique. Also, oily skin still needs to be hydrated to look fresh, so use an oil free moisturizer. Do these two things morning and night. At night you may also want to use an acne medicated cream on your face, go to a dermatologist to prescribe you one. Worked wonders for me. I have acne but I keep such good care of it, my skin looks wonderful and I get complements all the time.

I'm using Clearasil -ULTRA- Deep Pore Cleansing Pads and Meijer Invisible Acne Cream. It's really good I'm using that twice a day and my skin is clear. Pimples are almost gone on the next day but it also dryers your skin but still it is worth it. You should try to use that.

My experience is to ice the pimple for at least 5 mins. straight - the longer the better if you can handle it. Then apply toothpaste or antibacterial ointment (neosporin is effective) whichever you have, both of them works beautifully. The pimple will fade almost in 24 hours.
IMPORTANT - Icing the infected area is essential.

Do not scrub with salt. Salt is abrasive and can damage the sensitive skin on your face. Drink lots of water (at least 8 glasses a day) and once a day drink a warm glass of water with lemon juice (fresh) and honey.
