Neither. Had both could not tell a difference with either. They both felt like my stock shocks. Also, I've broken Rancho with two different 4X4s.
My next shock will be Bilstien or Doetsch Tech. Right now I've got Edelbrock. They feel like Ranchos. What kind of suspension do you have? If it is Rancho nothing can help. Those springs are stiff like a lumber wagon. Good springs (coil or leaf) can make all the difference.

If you only have these two choices go with Rancho, it is a more well known shock but both are not recommended by me. Pro-Comps are cheaper and better but edlebrock is a good shock. I have went thru some Rancho shocks on my CJ-5.

Most shocks available today are made by one of 3 companies and then just re-labeled.

I do not beilieve that either of those companies makes their own shocks. Which one is cheaper?

I myself would not use either one. Sky-Cracker or Rauncho they are inferior.
