Is Business Intelligence Development Studio Dependent software?

I mean is there a software name (BIDS) or it come with sql server 2005 ?
if there is a software, from where i can download it ?

That is a highly technical question that I do not totally understand even though I have twenty-six years of data processing experience. I think you will have better luck asking that question at a computer fair or computer store or someplace like that.
