Some want to force non-muslims to adhere to muslim principles, but why should others have a foreign religion forced on them? Why should we not criticize islam if we believe it is irrational or harmful? Why should those muslim followers force others to ceremonialize their values when we have our own? We don't need to respect islam if we are not muslims, what good has islam ever done except shed blood?

Jesus hates false doctrines that try to come into His Churches (Revelation, to the 7 churches). If Jesus hates false doctrines, I can too.
It is written that if anyone adds to the book of Revelation, the plagues will be added to that one. If anyone takes away from the book of Revelation, God will take that name out of the book of life. They also have end time teaching contradictory to Revelation. So that is close to adding or taking away.
Also, it is written that whoever adds or takes away from Gods Word, that person will be found out to be a liar.
To me Gods Word is the Holy Bible. And the Koran adds & takes away from Gods revealed Word in the Holy Bible.
There are contradictions.

I have my own religion to follow and adhere to its principle
which is hard enough to do, must I also the follow the religion
of others I don't understand.
the consequences for the Islamic faith sound extreme and
definitely against my own religion..

christians want everyone to be christian
muslim want everyone to be muslims
both use questionable ways to pass their religions
i cannot speak for christianity but the Quran never actually tells you to force your religion on others.
i know many muslims are abusing the Quran to make it fit their needs or being much too harsh but to understand islam you cant look at its followers.
when i look at the answers of some of the christians here, i start making generalizations about them.
but when i see an answer from one that is different, i hate myself for falling into the same mistake as they do.
islam has not shed blood instead of in war to defend itself. its sad that you actually believe the rest of the world is clean of any bloodshed. you cant blame islam for the mistakes of muslims unless it actually tells you to kill. and i dont hide any part of my religion if islam was evil, i wouldn't be a muslim.

Why because when they are the majority they will kill you if you do not. They persecute anyone who is not muslim in certain countries like Iran already.
