Place them in a metal colander and put this into a larger pot with simmering water. Cover them if you can.

Make a steamer. Take a piece of regular window screen, put ut on top of a pot. Fill the pot with water and bring it to a boil. Instant Steamer.

Get a rack that fits whatever size pot you have and a lid to fit over the rack and your pot. Put water in the pot and boil it but make sure the water level isnt too high that the bubbling water comes onto the rack. Then just put the food on the rack, cover rack and pot with lid and keep a med-high to high boil going in the pot while your food steams.

take a soup pot and put a little water in the bottom and put a the crab legs in and cover with the lid
