Certainly no risk in studying Wicca and determining if it's right for you. It's all about connecting with the Earth and being one with it and everyone else. As far as religions go, it's quite peaceful (and incredibly misunderstood).

first of all, Wicca is a Legal Religion...second, is the consideration of how old you are, what religion are your parents and will you be hiding it? there is nothing wrong in exploring your interest in Wicca but please...it is a SERIOUS religion and not just for those who want to "cast spells". It is an earth based religion that believes in self Improvement. it is all about respect for ALL things. It is not what you see on TV (Charmed) or in movies (the Craft) and mostly...Wicca IS NOT something to awe, impress others or brag about. the only downside is how others will react when you tell them. I have been practicing for 30+ years and most people I know don't know I am a witch and it's best that way. Just as if I was Christian, I would not scream it from the rooftop. religion...ANY RELIGION...is a personal and private connection between you and whoever you choose to pay honor to. (and no, I did not say "worship" because I pay respect to my Gods, not kiss the ground they walk on....and they do!)

Don't listen to those people who believe you'll go to hell-don't believe it. Many christians think and believe if you're not one of them, you will go to hell, but thats only believe they have no tolerance for other religions- ex. when they used to burn and hang Wiccans in Europe, and steal the dates of their holidays for their own made up ones. Be whatever religion you want to be- I think wicca is a great one because it practices treating others how you want to be treated, being kind and respectful towards nature, animals, and other human beings, and equality of men and women. It also allows you to add a little of what you personally want to believe- and there are no real strict rules about what you have to believe. The only thing you should worry about it other people trying to treat you differently b/c you are a wiccan because many christians and ppl of other religions peresecute pagans. There is nothing wrong being a certian religion, just practice it correctly, and don't cast spells without other ppl's permission, etc. Follow the rules of the practices if you are to become one,

The point of religion (from my perspective) is to give a person emotional and spiritual peace and happiness, to make them feel complete. If wicca accomplishes that for you, then I see no risks.

If it does not, perhaps a different religion would or no religion at all. You would have "wasted" time, but you can only know if you try.

I think Bon Scott said it best. Highway to Hell. Simply stated. If you want real power begin a relationship with Christ. Not only do you reap the benefits here on earth but you will for eternity as well. And as Prince states Thats a mighty long time. Peace out.......

Even though those who practice Wicca use "white magic" and "do no harm", they have to call upon forces to protect themselves from evil and harm.

These forces are not Christian forces.

Wiccans, unfortunately, because of this face the same prospect as others who do accept Jesus as their Savior and that is eternal damnation of their souls and Hell.

Please do not study Wicca - no matter how attractive it seems.

No risk. Why ask such an idiotic question?

Religion has NOTHING to do with the afterlife of your soul. Ignore the ignorant religious fanatics.

Awkward stares [if you tell people], Christians hating your guts, and a feeling weird about yourself for a few months.
