I have had heard the bible and quran compared, allah called god, and Americans blaming Americans for the intellectual poverty of muslim nations, but can anyone tell me why we are giving social and moral equivalences to justify muslims who actually kill others to satiate their imaginery concept of deity called allah? How can islam be anything but a death cult, offering blood sacrifices to appease another fallacious supernatural model?

I disagree with what you're doing here. You are trashing a religion and completely morally wrecking it without full studying and understanding it. There's nothing lower and more hurtful than saying someones religion is "fake". Trust me, I know.

You are stereotyping from the news. If you wish to read a couple of good books start with Arrogance: Rescuing America from the Media Elite by Bernard Goldberg. You will see how little the media is actually showing you.

Secondly, in the middle east the religion has become more of political cause than one of Allah. Actually read the Quaran and see if you find half of what these people say is in it. You won't! Now was Muhammed a hateful person who did mean things, yes at times, but there was a time of peace in that religion and the government has used the religion as a means to scare the people. There are many in that country who want a reform and want the Quaran followed as written, but they fear the long arm of the government and tradition that has built up over the years.
I know many Muslims that are kind, generous, and non-violent citizens. Please do not classify them with those who are not following the ways of Allah.

I gather by "complex" you mean anything that goes beyond "they bad - we good." Certainly Islam, as well as Christianity and Judaism, can make room in their outlook for brutality and mayhem. But would you entertain the notion that there are some Muslims whose uppermost desire is not killing? Strange as it may sound to you, I've know Muslims who have no desire to kill you or anyone else for that matter.

And at least let's bring some historical accuracy to your statement. Indeed, let's show our outrage at the current spate of murders being committed by Muslims (mostly against other Muslims). And then consider the murderous horrors of the non-Muslim forces in our history - recent and ancient. It makes the Muslims look like pikers by comparison. A road-side bombing in Iraq today took dozens of lives. In the year of my birth, a Christian man pressed a button and incinerated 66,000 humans all at once - to the general applause of his Christian compatriots.

I would alter your question to read, "Why does anyone who kills for any god have any good press anywhere? No god worth my worship would ask me to kill. The Lord is a god of peace, and that is what I believe.
