I would put everything on hold for a while until you get your priority's straight .

Yes, if you have doubts it means you don't love him; so take a time for yourself before you get into real troubles (like a premature marriage, pregnancy, a child, a divorce and an ex-partner making your life a living hell) Remember once you have a child with the wrong guy that guy will be in your life forever even if he is psycho, a loser, or just a jerk.

Take a time for you, concentrate on your studies, your work, your life, learn what kind of guys are bad for you and do not repeat the same mistakes and when you feel ready, go on with your romantic life.

It seems like you need some advice from someone who has been in your shoes. Here goes.

I learned that I couldn't make anyone happy until I was happy. If you say that everything in your life is going wrong, then you need to fix what is going on.

As for the guy......I have so been in that situation.

Me and this guy were dating and we broke up over something stupid. I met someone else. My ex called me and we talked for a long time. We sorted through our **** and now, he wants us to get back together. Well, I told him that if he truely wanted us to get back together, he would wait until I got my life on track and sorted through a few other things (like the guy I am dating now).

He, as far as he is telling me, is waiting patiently. We talk to each other all the time. He doesn't pressure me about the guy I am dating. So, there is my situation, maybe you can get some ideas or encouragement from it.

Good luck!

Put everything on hold, and explain to why your putting him on hold. If he cares about you he will understand.

How long have you been with him? If he is supportive then you should definately keep him around to help you through the hard times.
