The obvious answer is don't speed, however there are certain things that every police officer has to testify to in a speeding ticket case.
If the officer doesn't mention these certain items, the case can be tossed out for not delivering a prima facie case or being clear and convincing.
There's along list of those "certain things", most lawyers know them.

I would have to say the best way to get out of a speeding ticket, would be do not speed.

This is easy, you won't like it, but pay it, if you are guilty. Going faster then the posted speed is breaking the law, it is minor but it is still breaking the law.

Put on a foreign accent and explain that you thought the signs were in Kilometers and not Miles.....................The officer will know you are talking crap, but may like your style........
