He wont look at you when hes talking to you, or he will usualy be near you but not talk to you.

When she says she will not tell anyone and asks if he likes her and he says "Yes".
But then if you don't keep it a secret you will be hurting his feelings.
So, if you like him, ask if he can explain some schoolwork to you and see where it goes from there.

he may start getting nervous when talking to a girl he likes, he is trying hard to keep the conversation flowing, but you can sense his tension. he is not calm. he keeps looking at her. he doesnt talk to her when she is in a group of her friends, prefers to talk to her when she is alone and so on...
