My father was the only link to my family in Ariano Irpino. I am trying to get in touch with my family but?

I do not speak Italian. I visited family in Italy years ago and planned to go back with my father and unfortunately cannot now. What would be the best way to get in touch with family apparently name is very well known.

Go through the Italian embassy. Request them. They will surely help whichever way they can.
