Congrats!! My husband and I danced to "Me and You" by Kenny Chesney....here are the lyrics.....

Ordinary ... no
Really don't think so
Not a love this true
Common Destiny
We were meant to be
me & you

Like a perfect scene
From a movie screen
We're a dream come true
Suited perfectly
For eternity
me & you

Everyday, I need you even more
And the night time too
Theres no way I could ever let you go, even if I wanted to

Everyday I live
Try my best to give
All I have to you
Thank the stars above, that we share this love
me & you

Everyday, I need you even more
And the night time too
Theres no way I could ever let you go, even if I wanted to

Ordinary, no
Really don't think so
Just a precious few
ever make it last
get as lucky as
me & you

Choose a song that is special to you and your spouse. It can be anything you want. Some good ones are Unchained Melody, Have I Told You Lately, All My Life, and From This Moment On. Just make sure you read the lyrics carefully. Some songs are deceiving. They can sound like a love song but the lyrics actually talk about ending romance. Go to lyrics.com.

I agree... I love At Last be Etta James, it is a classic and easy to dance to. When I was picking my wedding song, I wanted something that I could ask a band in 20 years to play and they would know the song.

Something that means something to you. My fiance are debating between How do I live without you by Leann Rimes and Amazed by Lonestar because the first is the song that we met to and the second was my prom song that was our first dance together. It may be my personal opinion but either of these are GREAT. Another good one that will def. be played at my wedding will be To make you feel my love by Garth Brooks.

I don't know the song or artists, but the lyrics go something like, "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife. So from my personal point of view, get an ugly girl to marry you". It's really peppy! I think it's from the 50's or early 60's.

Most couples use the song that was playing when they first danced, or something like that. Also, a good dj should have many romantic songs available.
