Very much want to own a cat but am very allergic. Don't want to spend the big $ for a hypo-allergenic cat, and don't want a hairless cat. Looking for best advice?

You can look into a series of allergy shots which will help you develope an immunity to the cats dander. Quite alot of my ridng students have had to have the shots in order to be around the horses. The shot routine is lengthy and you can't miss any - but after some time they are no longer needed.

Singular is the best thing that they ever put out there for allergies . Mys on started it foe asthma. and has stayed on it for the allergies and we dont have any problems. weve finally been able to have pets after 7 years of allergies from animals.

Get a dog or some other pet you like. I would talk to a person that knows alot about them or a vetenarian if you really want a cat.
