I was using methadone before i got put on probation and its only been 1 1/2 days since the last use, but i also use vicodin and i do have a valid prescription for the vicodin, but not the methadone, so i need to know if the drug U/A will show the difference or can i just say its only the vicodin?

Yes they will show up different. Methadone will show up as methadone hydrocholoride or dolophine and vicodin will show up as hydrocodone with APAP (aspirin.) It depends on how often you get tested. If you must use, do it right after a test. Don't start using methadone unless with a prescription. It is not easy to kick because it lasts so long wheras vicodin lasts only four hours.

That is an easy differentiation. Methadone is even more addictive than vicodin.
