She has contacted us once thru her brother but he threw away the information that had her e-mail address on it. Can anybody tell me the names of web sites that might could help me locate her. I don't have her birth certificate or birthday. All I have is her name and birth year. Any help would be appreciated.

There are many adoption web sites. She could be registered on one of them, if you can search the birth year and place of birth.
And she DOES want to find you... someone else didn't bother to read. If you want to send me the name and birth year (and other details...place of birth), I'll see what I can do.

Did she go to a trade school or nursing school or even college? If so, then maybe you can find her thru them and contact the school and ask them to forward a letter to her current address if they have one. Her last place of employment or something may be the only way you can find her with only her name and birth year. I hope this helps. Someone in the family must know something. Talk to members who she was close to.

Try another question with her name in it since she's obviously a little computer savvy. Did her brother email her or call her after she contacted him. If he did then you could check the sent items in his email or his phone bill for her contact information.
