Tony Stewert or Denny Hamlin. They both have great talent and work great with the other drivers. I could see one of those two to win the Daytona 500.

Stewart has been looking pretty good at Daytona recently, so he's pretty likely to win it. If he stays in the draft then he probably will. I however, am a Johnson fan, and he did end off last season quite strong, obviously with winning the championship. With his wrist being broken over the offseason, he probably won't push himself too far. He is the defending champ of the series and that race. He does have Knaus back in his pit box this year so he probably will have a solid top 5 finish or even win the race again this year. Stewart and Johnson are humongous rival but are the two most likely to win the race. Kyle BUsch was really strong in last night's race as well so he will most likely have a strong finish.

Daytona is so unpredictable. With all the pack racing and tight finishes, you can go from 1st to 12th in the blink of an eye. In order to do that, you need people to partner with you to get to the front. With Stewarts history of running people over to get to the front, I really do not see too many drivers willing to risk taking him to the front. With that said, I look for the nice guys who are also good drivers. Those are the ones who will have plenty of guys line up behind them. I would look at Hamlin and Burton. Also, remember that Casey Mears is now with Hendrick, so if the Hendrick guys get to the front then watch out. That team could possibly have all 4 in the Chase at the end of the year.

Watch out for the 31 car. Let's see if RCR can keep a horse under their rider this year.

Smoke will suffer a mechanical problem unfortunately. The Bush Bros will wreck each other. The 48 car has the legs, but will they last? Watch for handling problems as the cars lighten on long runs and new harder tires. Aero-loose will be crazy, as we saw in the Shootout. Michael Waltrip will be unhappy after the race. If Ricky Rudd DOES win he'll be about as tired as Bobby Hamilton Sr. was on a sweltering Alabama April of 2001 after winning the Talladega race. He couldn't even stand after he got out of the car. He did the post-race winners circle interview from ground level. We still remember ya Bobby. Gone but not forgotten.

Jamie McMurray will win the 2007 Daytona 500.

I am of course rooting for my driver Jeff Gordon, but I was watching qulaifying and I was amazed to see that Ricky Rudd, David Ragan, David Gilliland, Jonny Sauter, and Boris Said, all in the top 10 or 15, I was amazed that some of these guys were in there and some dont even qualify for most of the races, and then their was Juan Pablo Montoya, in there, so I would like to see maybe David Ragan, David Gilliland, Jeff Gordon, or Jimmie Johnson win this thing. I wouldn't mind seeing Kasey Kahne win this either. Just as long as the Busch Brothers, Matt Kenseth, Sterlin Marlin, Tony Stewart, and some other drivers win I will be extremely happy.

Right now it's hard to vote against Tony Stewart, simply because he really wants that win.
But of course, it's hard to pick a winner for this race, and a Big One could take out the best cars.
I would watch the top drivers from the Bud Shootout from last night, pretty much the top 5

I would LOVE to see Sterling win it again, especially after the way he was treated a couple years ago.

The comment was made that he was too old to represent Coors. I sent a nasty email to Coors and told them that I'm too old to drink their beer and that the "Soul Train" song is also older than their marketing target. A couple weeks later the Fed Ex guy showed up with a package from Coors. In it was an autographed Sterling Marlin hat and a letter. The letter stated that the decision regarding Sterling wasn't theirs. It was Ganassi Racing.

Anyway, I'm rooting for Sterling. He's my sentimental favorite for Daytona.
