I agree how hard it is for people that are not in a relationship with someone, specially on valentines day. But go out meet someone you may not get flowers or candy, but sitting home feeling bad is not the answer either. Who knows you might meet someone and the next valentines day, you may eat those words. There are single people out there that are lonely to, they chose not to stay home, they decided to go out in the hopes of meeting someone, alot of people give valentine parties,at least you won't be by yourself. The best way to get over anything is to get back out there and mingle, you don't have to except an invitation from the fist person you meet, but just getting out makes a difference.

V-Day is cruel to the lonely hearted, cruel to me. What do we do when the couples cuddle up together in the cold weather when we have no one? Who do we hug and say "I love you"? What happens when we are forced to look at the blank V-Day cards sitting on our desks with an ink-less pen? What else can we do besides sitting in our rooms listening to heart breaking songs like" Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying (Save the Scene By Not Going to The Show"?
We Blame each other for not comforting other loners. The world does not have to be lonely. We have the power to change it. If you want to go on living the cruel Valentine-Less Reign, go ahead. But we should do something about it. Comfort the freind that just broke up, next time you get asked out, say yes whether you like them or not, watch a comedy movie, read a romance novel, just don't waste your time mourning over your lonliness. If you have GOD on your side, you are never really alone.

Having been alone for the past three Valentines Days I can attest to the fact that this day can be a little depressing though I have long ago accepted that fact that I am alone and am no longer affected by feelings of loneliness.
However, this Valentines Day I plan on attending a party at a local club, Asylum, called "F-ck Valentines Day" at which people who are alone on this day can potentially meet. I can only hope that I am lucky enough to meet someone there.

I'm alone for V day too. Yes, I think it is one of those things that remind us that we desire someone else in our life. What I think, I think that all of us single people should have a V Day part. V for Victory that we can have fun and not be half of a couple. Wouldn't that be a blast. Just hang out with a bunch of people you don't know yet and get a chance to meet some new friends and forget about the single dilema for awhile.

Yes, valentines day is cruel. I've never had a gf on vday. So yeah they should have a day for singles but not just a day a day for singles to stop being single. that would be awesome. As for me this year I'm going to school then going to church and then coming home to watch Lost.

I agree how annoying that's for human beings which at the instant are not in a relationship with somebody, especially on valentines day. yet flow out meet somebody you will possibly no longer get flora or candy, yet sitting abode feeling undesirable isn't the respond the two. Who is super-unfold with you will desire to fulfill somebody and the subsequent valentines day, you would be able to consume those words. There are single human beings available that are lonely to, they chosen to no longer stay abode, they desperate to flow out interior the hopes of assembly somebody, alot of human beings supply valentine events,a minimum of you isn't via your self. the ideal thank you to recover from something is to get decrease back available and mingle, you do no longer would desire to different than an invitation from the fist guy or woman you meet, yet in simple terms getting out makes a distinction.

I personally think Valentine's Day sucks, but I've always found enough "Anti-Valentine's Day" parties, concerts etc so that being single on Valentine's Day has never bothered me.
