Wacth media in spanish, see movies in spanish, and try speaking a lot. I'd be glad to help you learn, contact me if you want some practice.

Note: if you are interested in buying some software, make sure it teaches latin-american spanish, as its easier to learn that the spanish spoken in spain which is very different.

I'm Spanish and I have been in England learning English; so I think the best way to learn Spanish it would be come to Spain. But if you can't, try to watch the TV in Spanish, and look for books in Spanish; if you don't understand a lot, start with comics or children's books and speak with the people, don't be shame.

Michel Thomas Language course, available on CD from amazon. It's brilliant. Simple listen and repeat and you will be able to construct basic sentences within a couple of hours. The course is 8 hours long.

I am from the USA, but I purchased a program from a company in London to help me learn Spanish. It is called Teach Yourself Spanish and it really does work.

I hope this helps.
