My boyfriend (we have been dating for years) mentioned how he would think about going to see strippers. This makes me very uncomfortable. It especially makes me feel uncomfortable because we had some big bumps in our relationship which we are trying to work out to be a stronger couple and I said going to a stripper at this time would not help our situation. He still is being stubborn and says if he wants to go that he wants me to be okay with it...and is not budging.
He said that they are not a big deal and its just for viewing purposes.
He never takes me to dinner, or buys me things...which is okay because we are both poor college students. However, if he has money to go to a Strip club, then shouldn't he either reconsider us or do something for me too? If he's too broke for anything for us, but can go to a stripper, to me isnt his priorities to our relationship mixed up?

I'm guessing he just wants to see boobs. So see if you can use your internet and a good firewall to let him look at the pornagraphic websites. Or buy him some movies. Also get him some beer and a meal so that he doesnt complain about those things

If you allow what I stated above, tell him so. Just let him know that if he goes out to those sorts of places, he may make some bad decisions that would hurt the relationship more. That you can understand that he has certain needs but you want him to keep it to a certain limit.

Then also remind him that you like to be wined and dined. Give incentives/ tease him enough so that he has a reason to do this stuff. But not so much that he feels like you're just using him.

I totally agree with you. He needs to get his priorities in order. If he has money he should spend it on you before even thinking about going to a strip club. just sit him down and talk to him. Take charge and tell him how u feel about it. If he loves you, he'll understand.

I hope everything works out for you two. Good Luck.

If he is seeing you he has no business around strippers or prostitutes. He should repsect your wishes; chances are if you went around to see male strippers he wouldn't be Ok with that either. Be careful that this fellow isn't "addicted" to this kind of lifestyle, since he seems to value it more than you. Also since women are usually not welcome in strip clubs except as entertainment, is viewing all that he does?

This guy is bad news. He just wants to have his cake and eat it to. Its cool to go to strip club with your man, as long as your okay with it. And by the way its not only for viewing purposes, hasnt he heard of lap dances?

You already know the answer to this question. Today it's strippers, tomorrow he'll be stripping you of all your self-esteem....

The signs are all there, & have been there for a while.... pay attention to them!!

Doesn't have money to take you out to eat but he does have money to see a stripper huh? One stripper can cost you hundreds of dollars in one night. You can either argue with him or dump his ***.

Priorities sound kind of screwed up here.

I'd give this relationahip a WHOLE lot of thought before going any further with it.

it's ok to go to a stripp club, but he should give you a little more attention. he is comfortable with you, and he is used to you, so it more fun to go to stripp club

Tell him that he can only go if he takes you with him...
Make it an educational venture for yourself...
