I know that in symbolism butterflies and moths symbolise transformation and rebirth. I was wondering what a wasp symbolises. I am intrigued to find out as there was one in the car( just sitting on the seat), which I found strange as there dont seem to be many wasps about in Feb. I am positive that it is symbolic for something but don't know what. cheers kaf x

In Bugs Bunny cartoons it symbolized a curvy woman, and in early-eighties heavy metal it symbolized Blackie Lawless. For some it means White Anglo Saxon Protestant meaning ignorant racist. Hope I helped.

From http://www.sayahda.com/cyc5.html :

The wasp teaches those...to use diversity to their advantage. Balancing all aspects of the various species is an artform and can take a lifetime to accomplish. By observing the wasp, we can learn how to shape shift our outer image and become more connected to our inner knowing.

This is based on Native American tradition...hope it helps.
