No, that's brilliant! The scale is as follows: -
Over 140 - Genius or near genius
20 - 140 - Very superior intelligence
110 - 119 - Superior intelligence
90 - 109 - Normal or average intelligence
80 - 89 - Dullness
70 - 79 - Borderline deficiency
Under 70 - Definite feeble-mindedness

There is no general consensus on IQ. However, 140 is generally considered what is called "high-average" or "near genius". However, high-IQ societies like Mensa will accept members who score at least 132 on the Stanford-Binet and 148 on the Cattell (two standardized IQ tests).
