what is 20 mg once a day most for?? depression or anxiety??

the amount that your getting and how many times a day doesn't matter if your taking it for depression or anxiety, it matters on how bad your Dx is.. if you have a really bad depression you could take that amount, or if you have just really bad anxiety... its just the dosage amount that the doctor thinks you need to get the medican to work in your body...

That is a small dose. Prozac works for both depression and anxiety. The dose depends on a person's size and severity. I have a friend on 80 mg a day. It is always best to start with a small dose because that could be all a person needs to relieve symptoms.

20mg of Prozac is the standard dose for depression. Depression causes anxiety, so your doctor is probably trying to treat your depression to relieve your anxiety.

SSRI's (Prozac) can be used in anxiety but are not the prefered medications and would not be used alone.

please dont use any anti - depressants any amount. dont think depression. When we get huppy do we use anti - huppines madicine. dont do it please. Being sad, angry, huppy is normal things for us.
