I have a friend who's sister is apparently very sick. They say she has a vein in her left arm and leg that is swelled, her vision has worsened and she passed out yesterday. I'm wondering, Aneurism, heart problem or something else?

I'm not a doctor (and they're the ones who would know for sure) but it could be an aneurism (or a couple of them) - that is a thinning of the wall of a blood vessel which would allow the blood flow (pressure) to push out that weakened area of vessel making it "swell). It could also be a blockage further ahead in the vessels involved - think of a garden hose with a ping pong ball stuffed in it 20' out from the tap. If you turn the water on, the hose will swell out in its effort to pass that water through the clogged part. The good part of that would seem to be that the heart is trying very hard to do its job.

I wish her luck and hope she's better soon

To be frank it is difficult to tell you correctly, I can answer you partially, as i have not seen the patient.
Aneurysm of is a possible because it is very rare to find an aneurysm of axillary artery or the renal artery. But your hunch is correct.
Most probably multiple EMBOLI must have dislodged from the Lower limbs resulting in involvement of all the systems you have mentioned.
