God prefers to not control us so we can do what we want, God
did not create what we do, if God did we would just be robots.

God is the Alpha and the Omega so no ifs. The devil is just like you, thinks he knows it all, does what he wants, wants to be God and change the rules. God gave us the right to choose. So the bad is the result of wrong choices. The devil made wrong choices and he now tempts people into making wrong choices. Just don't let him and we wouldn't need him.
May God Bless you.

Alpha means 'the beginning' and Omega means 'the end' and that has NOTHING to do with good/bad ... it means that GOD IS EVERYWHERE. While I think that we humans do 'need' the Devil as a 'threat' when we have done something bad (evil) I don't think that God is going to send ANYONE to Hell FOREVER but will give EVERYONE A GOOD CHANCE at 'HEAVEN' on 'judgement day' ...

The Supreme can be described as the good and the bad, yes. The Absolute cannot. And, the Devil only exists in certain religions.

Jesus' message was the Alpha and Omega of God's message:
Jesus' message includes the beginning (repentence, getting along with each other, forgiving each other, and being born into a spirit of real harmony by not holding a grudge against someone.) His message starts with those things and it ends in how to get to Heaven (which is done for all those who believe in him (his message).
The beginning and the end; born (re-born) into a spirit of harmony and then going to Heaven.
Sounds simple to me.
(of course what do I know, I am just a dumb Orangutan hoping we don't get served spinach for dinner again tonight. - yuck)

The Bible and Qur'an both state that everything comes from Allah (God). Why do Christians think that this does not apply to good and evil is a question even they have trouble answering. The devil is just a figure used to symbolize evil.

Well, there isn't a devil. You said it exactly. God is everything and everywhere. God is far beyond any mortals comprehension. All lies perpetrated in his name will be paid for. I'm looking at you Christians, Jews and Muslims.

This is one of the points I make on here all the time...lol.
In our standard definition of God, He's supposed to be omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing), and omnipresent (everywhere at once). In other words, He's a Being without limit in any dimension; so that even to refer to "Him" is an error, since "He" must evidently also be "She," or rather some indeterminate quality beyond, but encompassing, both of these. So with "good" and "evil," and all the pairs of opposites. A Being such as we've described must actually include the other being we've invented and named "Satan," so that the "Revolt in Heaven" is reduced to a farce, and the Fall of Man and his subsequent Redemption is merely our beneficient God staging a one-man puppet show for His own amusement, with us as the puppets. "Free will" is obviously impossible to human beings, or at least illusory, if God is all-powerful and all-knowing. Not only has He known what our "sins" would be from Eternity, He's planted the germ of those sins in us Himself at our creation, and actually participates in our sins as we commit them - all for the auto-sadomasochistic pleasure, apparently, of punishing us for them!
It sounds absurd because it is. "With friends like this, who needs enemies?" The question "Why does a good God allow evil to exist?" occurs to most fairly reflective people; but the answer they receive from people who claim to know is bound to involve the standard theological nonsense about free will and rebellion and the devil and tests of faith, etc. That's all a dodge. "OK, then why does God allow Satan to exist?" "Why does God allow us to make the choices that land us in hell for all eternity?" Or better yet "Why even create us if He's just going to fry most of us?" Listen very carefully to the answers you get to these questions, and ask yourself if they REALLY make sense.

Alpha & Omega is like A to Z; the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
It is NOT like the good and the bad.

Yes, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Clint Eastwood made a movie about that.
