I'm 30 and have had 3 root canals! I've always received proper dental care. I just feel doomed! So, one of my teeth has started hurting and I just fear that Root Canal #4 has come! Is there any hope?

I can understand your concern, after having three root canals already, it should be time to give special attention to your proper brushing flossing and taking the best possible care of your teeth. Try to brush after every meal and floss before going to bed. Brushing the tongue, and the inside of your cheeks as well as your gums upper and lower should remove most of the plaque.Rinsing with Listerine is also advisable. The X-ray at your dental Office will tell what is going on, perhaps it just an old filling that needs replacing. Best of luck, and your home care is the most important part of your dental care .

Maybe it's just a cavity. I hope you don't need another root canal! I'd see a dentist.

CHICA,
THERE ARE SEVERAL REASONS WHY THIS TOOTH MAY HURT. IT COULD BE DECAY OR IRREVERIBLE PULPITIS (NEEDING A ROOT CANAL).
YOU WON'T KNOW UNTIL TESTS ARE DONE AND AN X-RAY IS TAKEN. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO SEE YOUR DENTIST.

No.But I'd be finding out why you have such problems.Root canals are a big pain.Personally,I'd rather have the tooth pulled.
